Summary of Principal Responsibilities
As part of the Operations team, the Donor Information Associate is a key position in ensuring AFSC’s donor data is clean, accurate, and up-to-date. In addition, the Associate has primary responsibility for the stewardship of monthly sustaining of donors. The Donor Information Associate will collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including program staff, donors, development officers, and others, to monitor and provide the data and reports that facilitate excellent donor stewardship.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the Donor Information Associate include the following:
- Assist with donor and donation data entry in Salesforce. Ensure that data is updated regularly, that duplicate records are corrected, and updates from the national changes of address data are recorded in a timely way.
- Monitor the synchronization of recorded gifts between Salesforce and EveryAction databases.
- Produce and submit ongoing donation reports and activist code updates in support of Annual Giving goals.
- Maintain records for AFSC’s sustaining donor program, including regular reports on donors, notifying others when payments fail, and updating payment methods and amounts as needed. Assemble and mail welcome packets to new sustaining donors.
- Produce weekly checks on the accuracy of data entry performed.
- Produce monthly reports of selected donor segments and share them with colleagues.
- Assist the Donor Services Manager in the donation reallocation process by pulling source documents.
- Assist with mail opening and donation batch preparation.
- Interact with donors as a responder to the AFSC toll free phone line, answering questions, accepting gifts, directing to appropriate sources of information.
- Act as a backup for others in the Development Operations unit.
- Other duties as assigned by the Donor Services Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Four years of experience with constituent or donor databases, such as Salesforce. Salesforce experience is highly recommended.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with donor information, demonstrating a familiarity with common types of donations and donor stewardship concerns.

Compensation:** Salary range starts at $50,922 - Exempt - Comprehensive medical and hospitalization plan; term life, accident and salary continuation insurances, defined benefit pension plan, plus fringe benefits; participation in unemployment and worker's compensation and social security.
